Sydney based Bulawayo born gospel diva to launch debut album.

By Harry Taruva in Sydney Australia.

Australia based Bulawayo born upcoming gospel diva Lynette Moyo is set to launch her debut album on Saturday 10 June in Wetherill Park Sydney, Australia.

In an exclusive interview,Lynette told Kwedu News the upcoming album is titled ” The Athor and the Finisher” has 9 tracks and was inspired by her walk with God.

The talented Lynette who migrated to Australia at the age of 9 grew up in a family where gospel music was the daily bread and this would shape her career and inspire her later in life.
“Gospel is a source of inspiration and strength to me…I came to understand the gift and purpose which is to worship God through music ” Said Lynette.

At the age of 18 the soft spoken singer joined the GPM Power Worship Choir where her passion for Christ and worship music was developed.

” My gift of song writing led to the creation of ” We serve a Living God ” two God given songs from the Power Worship Second Album.

She added ” My aim is to produce a worship album that glorifies God in truth and in Spirit and lead people into the presence of God”

Lynette has some words of advice for other young and aspiring Zimbabwean musicians ”
Stand firm in your faith,do not waver.Know why you have been called to do …I encourage young artists to focus on their own lane, find what makes them unique and become the version of themselves. You are not in competition”Nkulumane born Lynette said.

In her parting shot Lynette expressed gratitude to all her fans who have supported her from the time she released her first single and rallied them to come in numbers and support her at the album unveiling concert on June 10
