Limpopo, South Africa – South African Police Service (SAPS) in Limpopo is seeking the public’s assistance in tracking down a 35-year-old Zimbabwean national, Lovemore Musoyi, who is a wanted suspect linked to over 10 serious criminal cases.
In a media statement, SAPS Office of the Provincial Commissioner Limpopo’s Brigadier Hlulani Mashaba said a reward of R20,000 is being offered for any information that leads to his arrest.
“The Police in Limpopo are offering a R20 000 (twenty thousand) reward to anyone who can provide positive information that can lead to the arrest and successful conviction of a notorious suspect, Lovemore Musoyi, a Zimbabwean national believed to be around 35 years old.”
Musoyi stands accused of murder, attempted murder, armed robberies, possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
“Musoyi is wanted in connection with more than 10 criminal cases, including murder, attempted murder, armed robberies, house robberies, business robberies, kidnapping, assaults, stock theft, and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition that occurred in Elandskraal, Motetema, Dennilton and Rakgoadi policing area in Sekhukhune District,” Brigadier Mashaba said.
Provincial Commissioner in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, assured the community that a team of specialized detectives is working tirelessly to apprehend Musoyi and bring him to justice.
Anyone with information about Musoyi’s whereabouts, Brigadier Mashaba said, is urged to contact the nearest police station or through the ‘MySAPS’ App.
