Rising Zim footballer Richard Nkomo breaks into the Australian U17 National team.

Zim born Richard Nkomo is a rising star who has gone through the Academy for Australian A league side Sydney FC. Recently, he made waves on the international stage as he was called up to the Australian u17 national team for the U17 AFC Asian cup.

Blessed with abundant power, athleticism and versatility, Nkomo is quickly establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with.

A conventional natural left back,Richard demonstrates remarkable strength and defensive prowess. However, his versatility allows him to excel in other positions as well including higher up the field or centre back.

Although he is a natural defender,Richard is also blessed with exceptional attacking abilities which enable him to seamlessly transition from defense to attack as he overlaps provide quality crosses into the opposition box.

Gifted with great vision and long passing range, this enables him to frequently contribute assists thereby making him a vital asset in the team.

While this is Nkomo’s first season with Sydney FC ,he has already made a significant impact.

Off the pitch, Nkomo remains a humble,kind young man, always willing to advocate for and be a role model other young African soccer stars.

If Nkomo continues on this path, the sky is the limit for this supremely talented young warrior.
