Former State Security Minister Owen ‘Mudha’ Ncube rallies support for President Mnangagwa

Former State Security Minister and Gokwe Kana Legislator, Owen ‘Mudha’ Ncube is rallying support for ZANU PF party and President Emmerson Mnangagwa among party members following party differences during primary elections held in the recent past.
Ncube, Speaking in Gweru recently during a ZANU PF Inter-district meeting, said primary elections are over and party members should now focus on campaigning for those who won, and the President, Emmerson Mnangagwa.
“All our internal processes are done, what is left is to go and campaign for Cde Mnangagwa the President, the Memebers of Parliament and Councilors that won so that we win resoundingly.
“Gweru must unite, those who were contesting should campaign together,” he said.
“Those who are for the revolution they will defend it by voting those who were successful in the primaries.
“Don’t say to those who voted for you don’t vote for that one because I lost, no.
“In ZANU PF people follow the party not you who won.
“Now we are left with the President and ZANU PF, we now have a bigger picture which is Cde Mnangagwa,” Ncube said.
He said the party is going district by district, bringing members together and they should stop fighting on issues of elections.
He said winning candidates should go back to their areas and bring themselves before their Chiefs and inform them about their activities in their respective communities.
He said they should humble themselves before them.
“Dont campaign without the chiefs knowing what is happening in their areas.
“This is for the party, everyone knows that this party came through blood, there those who died for it, so lets protect it,” he said.
He called for peace during campaigns as elections get closer, urging ZANU PF members to up their game in soliciting for votes.
“The President has been saying we are now going for elections, we don’t want violence in the constituencies.
“So let’s first unite, then go and preach the gospel of non-violence which is being preached by President Mnangagwa.
“We go for elections and finish peacefully, campaign peacefully,” he said.
He called for party visibility during campaigns saying the Midlands Province should have the highest number of votes in the country because it is the President’s Province
He said members should go door to door if possible.
Ncube said no one will be arrested for campaigning for the President and those who won primary elections should humble themselves before the people as well.
“Its not a chargeable offence to campaign for your leader, to defend this revolution.
“Market what the President has done.
“You who have been elected, humble yourselves before the people.
“Let’s go to churches to look for support for ZANU PF, colleges and Universities,” he said.
He warned those who won candidacy for Parliamentary seats to use the vehicles that they have been given by the party wisely, working for the party.
“The President gave you nice cars, they are not for you to go to bars, or carrying girlfriends, they are cars to do ZANU PF business,” he said.
He also encouraged party members to go and register to vote in their numbers as elections are getting nearer everyday.
