Mnangagwa Breaks Vacation to Appoint new CIO Boss

…..Announces mini cabinet Reshuffle

Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Friday took a break from his annual leave to announce the removal of the country’s Intelligence Supremo Isaac Moyo and replace him with National Parks Director Fulton Mangwanya. No reasons were for given for the changes.

In a press statement, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Martin Rushwaya said

” In terms of Section 226(1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe , His Excellency the President ,Cde .Dr.Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has appointed Dr Fulton Mangwanya as the Director General, President ‘ s Department.The appointment is with immediate effect. “

In a related development, Mnangagwa also redeployed Public Service Minister July Moyo to Energy and Power Development while Edgar Moyo replaced him as Public Service Minister.

The removal of Isaac Moyo as CIO boss follows the dropping of Former Police Chief Godwin Matanga a few weeks ago.
