Midlands Province Minister Ncube Hails First Lady Africana Family Humanism Program

GWERU – Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Honourable Owen Ncube, has praised the First Lady of Zimbabwe, Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa, for launching the inaugural Africana Family Humanism Programme in Gweru, Midlands Province.

“I feel greatly honoured to welcome our committed, hardworking, esteemed, and unifying mother of the nation, vamaMoyo, Her Excellency, the First Lady of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Dr. A. Mnangagwa, on this auspicious occasion,” Minister Ncube said in his welcome remarks.

He commended the First Lady for her tireless efforts in promoting family values and community cohesion, saying, “We are proud as a Province to host this important inaugural programme that complements the First Lady’s other programmes, which promote value systems of hard community cohesion and development work, love, prayer, and outreach to cover the family and the whole country.”

Minister Ncube highlighted the significance of the programme, saying it supports the attainment of a prosperous and empowered upper-middle-income society by 2030, as envisioned by President Mnangagwa.

He also acknowledged the First Lady’s numerous achievements, including her humanitarian work, which has received international recognition and accolades.

“We remain resolute and steadfast in support of the attainment of a Prosperous and Empowered Upper Middle Income Society by 2030 under the leadership of His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde Dr. E.D Mnangagwa,” Minister Ncube said.
