The year 2022 might be over, but memories of gospel musician Mathias Mhere and South African Musician, Minister Samantha’s electrifying performances at Miracle Mission Church of all Nations (MMCN) Church’s crossover celebrations in Gweru on the eve of the New Year will linger in the memories of those who attended the event.

The seasoned gospel singer made an entrance to the stage and the crowd was ecstatic, as he lit up the MMCN cross over night that was held at the church’s main arena, Saturday evening. Backed by his band members and talented backing vocalists, Mhere brought the house down as a guest artiste, with his popular songs, Vimba naJehovha, Ndiye wazondiramba and Favour naMwari which sent the audience at the edge of their seats and asking for more.

With a mixture of his old and current track albums, which saw congregants singing and dancing along, Mhere proved he is not just good in the studio, but is also an energetic performer.
Speaking at the crossover MMCN, Church’s PA Edmore Matatara thanked the congregants for making it possible for Mhere to come and perform, adding that the musician’s performance compliment the church’s efforts to spread the word of God through music.
“There are many ways that we minister to win souls to the house of God and that is why we invited, Mhere and Minister Samantha, a South African based musician, whose musical talents did wonders in preaching and spreading the word of God,” he said.

“I am really humbled by the collective contribution made and the performance,” he added.
The five star music performance and the way the audience sang along with Mhere and Minister Samantha shows their music is touching lives.

The crème dela crème of artistes from Zimbabwe and South Africa brought the City of Progress to a standstill as several hundreds gathered and cheered their favourite musicians at the venue.
Nothing however can beat a live experience as it is quite a different atmosphere when one is in the crowd watching the acts live compared to watching on TV.

At around 2300 hrs Minister Samantha, who is the most promising gospel musician from South Africa at the moment, closed off the show with a sublime and soul soothing worship performance that sent congregants wild.
