“ There should be community development through music .The community should be educated. Issues to do with drug abuse and gender based violence have been rampant in communities thus we came up with a plan and we held a awareness campaign in Kwekwe”

Different organisations were invited and the police also were present to educate people on drug abuse and gender based violence,’
The Groove band performed in Kwekwe city with the theme ,”Alleviating issues to do with drug and substance amongst the youth and stopping gender based violence .”
Masura also said that the music industry should not be just a space to seek employment since some youths are engaging in drugs just to be artists.
“ In Zimbabwe there is competition in the music industry whereby some youths are just joining industry just to seek employment while engaging in drugs. The music industry in Zimbabwe should be diversified without any imitation .Oliver Mutukidzi was an international artist because of his raw talent and music in Zimbabwe should be like that, ” said Masura.
