Foetus found dumped in Chesuma toilet

A human foetus was found dumped in a toilet at Mandava Township and the gory discovery was made on 14 May 2024 at around 0900 hours.
It is the state’s case that Alluwis Manatsa (41) employed by Zvishavane Town Council was on duty maintaining Chesuma toilets when he discovered that the drainage was blocked and upon investigating the cause of the blockage he discovered a lifeless male foetus.
Police attended the scene and the foetus was taken to Zvishavane District Hospital Mortuary.
Zimbabwe republic police midlands province is appealing for anyone who might have information that can assist in arresting the mother of the dumped foetus to contact any nearest Police Station.
