CCC leader Nelson Chamisa has lashed out at the ruling party Hardliners claiming that they have been blocking him from meeting with President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Addressing journalists yesterday, the CCC leader said Zimbabwe now needs dialogue than ever before in order to address the country’s myriad of challenges.
” I have tried every mechanism of engaging Mnangagwa, including writing several letters but there is no response from them…We will continue to knock…” Chamisa said.
The latest claim by Chamisa comes as the CCC has refused to endorse Mnangagwa’s August 2023 re-election saying the election was fraudulent leading the opposition party to declare that Mnangagwa’s presidency is illegitimate.
Efforts to get a Comment from Zanu PF spokesperson Ambassador Chris Mutsvangwa were unsuccessful at the time of writing.
