All set for ” My Sister’s Keeper Luncheon” this Saturday.

Zimbabwean Women in New South Wales Camden LGA are set to meet this Saturday under the theme ” My Sister Keeper” aiming to build a culture of being aware of each other and promote social cohesion and interaction.
A statement released by the event organisers reads
“The Sister’s Keeper Luncheon serves as a beacon of unity and support, bringing together women from diverse backgrounds to celebrate their shared strength and resilience.
This empowering event not only honors the vital role sisters play in each other’s lives but also highlights the importance of solidarity in navigating life’s challenges. As we gather around the table, we are reminded of the powerful bonds that tie us together, transcending differences and fostering a sense of belonging and community.
In the spirit of sisterhood, this luncheon is an opportunity to recognize and uplift one another, championing each other’s successes and providing a supportive network for those facing adversity. Through heartfelt conversations and shared experiences, we reaffirm our commitment to standing shoulder to shoulder, united in our pursuit of empowerment and collective growth. Together, we embody the true essence of sisterhood, embodying strength, compassion, and unwavering support for one another’s journey “
One of the event organisers Dheliwe Zigori told Kwedu News that the get together aims to help Ladies support each other,build meaningful and helpful relationships and consolidating ” our village spirit. ” In our language we say ” Musha mukadzi” so if we focus on building women in society….this will help build better families ” she said adding that about 100 Ladies are expected attend.
