Zaoga Officially Declines Chivayo Vehicle Offer to Dr E Guti..
By Harry Taruva for Kwedu News
The Holy Sriptures record one Simon who offered money to the disciples to buy their power to perform miracles to which Peter replied “Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money”
In a bold move the Zaoga Fifmi has officially declined Chivayo’s gift to Dr Eunor Guti saying that as a church the money should be channelled to addressing the country’s more pressing needs and the needs of the less privileged, the declining health and public services in the country.

Subject:Decline of Vehicle Offer to Apostle Dr. E. Guti
Dear Mr. Chivayo,
The Board of Zaoga FIF acknowledges with gratitude your generous offer of a top-of-the-range vehicle intended for our esteemed Apostle, Dr. E. Guti. While we appreciate the gesture, after careful consideration, we respectfully decline the offer.
As a church deeply committed to serving the people of Zimbabwe, we are profoundly concerned by the deteriorating state of our hospitals, schools, and essential public services. Zaoga FIF has consistently complemented government efforts by investing in education and healthcare—building schools, a university, and a hospital to uplift our communities.
In light of these pressing needs, we strongly believe that the resources being extended to individuals could instead be channeled toward restoring dignity to the suffering masses of Zimbabwe. Our decision is not politically motivated but rooted in the urgent desire to see our nation’s most vulnerable citizens receive the support they desperately need.
We remain committed to working for the betterment of Zimbabwe and trust that our stance will be understood as a call for collective responsibility in addressing the challenges facing our nation.
Yours sincerely,
Dr. Joseph Joe Guti
Board Chairman and President
Zaoga FIF
