Man (39) Given 20 Years for Raping Niece (5)

Bindura, Zimbabwe – A 39-year-old man from Chiweshe has been handed a 20-year prison sentence for raping his five-year-old niece.
The sentence was delivered at the Bindura Magistrate’s Court, following a police report and his subsequent arrest.
According to the National Prosecution Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ), the victim had been left in the care of her 76-year-old grandmother when the man lured her to his brick moulding workstation.
In a disturbing turn of events, the rapist sent his two sons to fetch firewood, creating an opportunity to take the minor to a private location where the sexual assault occurred.
