Five arrested for armed robbery

Five men armed with machetes attacked a homestead at Wildbeast farm in Shurugwi and robbed Cash, Gold and various goods worth about US$1100-00, this incident occurred on 19 January 2024 at around 2300 hours.
It is the state’s case that Trevor Mubhadha a man aged 25 years of Wildbeast farm in Shurugwi, retired to bed in a Tuck shop, at around 2300 hours five men forcibly opened the door, they gained entry and one of the suspects placed a machete on his left ear demanding cash and he gave them USD$400 dollars cash and 10 grams of Gold.
It is alleged that the five suspects proceeded to the kitchen where they found Thabani Gundani (20) sleeping and one of suspects struck Gundani on the left cheek with the flat side of the machete demanding cash and they took various clothing items, a gas tank, gas stove and an A56 Itel smart phone and went away.
On 20 January 2024 at around 0700 hours Trevor Mubhadha spotted three of the suspects and alerted the Police who were on patrol and the suspects were arrested.
The suspects were identified as Tafadzwa Dube (26), Dudzai Dube (25) and Misheck Dube (24), of Maqlanda village under Chief Mkoka in Gokwe.
The Police are appealing to anyone with information which can lead to the arrest of Happison Dube (21) and Kudakwashe Sijoli (20) to approach any nearest police station.
