The Supreme Court of Zimbabwe has thrown out an appeal by recalled CCC mps saying it was defective citing that their lawyers failed to comply with court rules in filing the case.
A panel of three struck the appeal off the roll saying there was no case before the court .The mps were recalled in controversial circumstances by one Sengezo Tshabangu who claims to be CCC interim General Secretary in October. The CCC has since disowned Tshabangu saying the Secretary Post doesn’t exist in their party adding that Tshabangu is not a CCC member.
The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has since ordered by-elections in the 9 affected constituencies on the 9th of December.
