Gugulethu Diana Moyo crowned Miss Gweru 2023

Gugulethu Diana Moyo was crowned Miss Gweru 2023 ahead of 14 other contestants who battled for honors in the Miss Gweru pageant.
Maxin Tasara became the 1st Princess while Shantel Kanyoka became the 2nd princess.
The top eight contestants received the following token of appreciation, the Queen received US$500 Courtesy of Glow Petroleum, a semester tuition voucher from River Valley Properties and an Evening Gown from Mahein Glam and Hair Produce Wig.

The 1st Princes, received $300 cash, 30 driving lessons , 1 bed and breakfast from Suskwe Lodge and 30 driving lessons from Mid Drive Driving School. The 2nd Princess got away with $200 cash and 30 driving lessons from Mid Drive Driving School. And all contestants received bath toiletries from OK MART.

Shamillah Msipa landed Miss Talent,Patrice Makanaka was crowned Miss Personality, Miss Gweru 2023 Gugulethu Diana Moyo also got Miss People’s choice, the best project title went to Natasha Malowe while Nomthandazo Dube got the super model title.

Miss Gweru was established fifteen years ago, it is one of the oldest pageants in Zimbabwe that have stood the test of time under the leadership of modelling expert Mavis Koslek.

The colourful fifteenth edition of Miss Gweru, ran under the theme The Pinnacle of beauty, was held on Saturday at Milan Family Restaurant in Gweru.

Musician Trevor Dongo who enjoyed the fair share of audience, thrilled the fans who could be heard singing along. The stage was also electrified by local dance performances from Making Moves and the Fuse and Royal Kings Dance Group.

Speaking to this publication Miss Gweru 2023 Gugulethu Diana Moyo showered praises to Image Modelling Consultancy Director and Founder of Miss Gweru, Mavis Kosleck for nurturing her.

“First of all I would want to thank Madam Koslek for walking with me in this journey and other beautiful contestants that were there, to see and help us to be very confidence in modeling. I have been working very hard for this title and now that I have been granted Miss Gweru 2023. I am totally working on making a change; I have a few projects running but so far am working on catering for Mudavanhu Children’s home. I will announce more projects that I will be working on with time,” she said.
