Hilda Anne Mapuranga a popular model who once won miss valentine award said that modeling industry is associated with so many challenges ,making it difficult for young upcoming models to cope with .

“ Modeling career is associated with many challenges which include body shaming resulting in some models thinking that they are not good enough to qualify as a models and also there is a lot of sexual harassment in the industry ,”said Mapuranga

Mapuranga said that she is advising all upcoming models that there are many benefits to a career as a model, one can learn skills that can give poise and confidence , it gives one an opportunity to travel to interesting places and meet fascinating people and also the salary can also be good, depending on your experience and reputation in the industry.

Mapuranga said modeling is a very competitive career choice so young upcoming models should follow their dream and work towards making the best out of it.
Muparangu said that besides being a model she is also trying to help the community through donating goods to the less privileged, she also mention that after they hosted Miss Zaka in 2021 the donated pads to the underprivileged in this community and she is also working on visiting one of the children’s home in Kwekwe at Amaveni to assist children living in this home and she said she is inspiring upcoming models to give back to their community when they have made it in the industry .
