Ncube Launches Civil Servants TrustED

Zanu Pf Politburo member Engineer Daniel Mackenzie Ncube on Friday presided over the launch of Midlands Province’s Civil Servants TrustED at Mkoba Teachers’ college in Gweru.
Addressing the gathering the veteran politician urged all civil servants to support and to be part of development programmes that are initiated and being undertaken by the Second Republic.
“May I take this opportunity to thank founders of this affiliate, for coming up with such a noble initiative? Which enables civil servants and the ruling party to close ranks and build unit of purpose.
“Cde and friends as we are gathered here today it is important to emphasise the special and symbolic relationship that has always been existing between Zanu Pf and its machinery and civil service. However the said relationship has always had it highs and lows. With some civil servants exhibiting antagonistic hardships against the government. It is against this background that this launch is a milestone achievement in the civil service sector, the Midlands Province and Zimbabwe at large”
Engineer Ncube who was the guest of owner said government has always afforded the civil service sufficient space to contribute and benefit from the growth of the economy.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the creation of the Civil Servants Trust ED movement is coming at the backdrop of the establishment of various related affiliates, primarily for the purpose of supporting the candidature of the first secretary of Zanu Pf Cde Dr ED Mnangagawa in particular zanu Pf at large. As we prepare for the 2023 harmonised elections. Following the establishment of this movement it is expected that Zanu Pf and the members of the Civil Servant Trust Ed are going to be working closely together”
Civil Servants TrustED national chairperson, Loraine Mutenure, said that she strongly
believes in President Mnangagwa’s mantra that “Nyika Inovakwa Nevene Vayo”, and so civil
servants should come together from different departments to build a strong team of cadres
and embark on projects that aim to empower its members.
She also said that their participation in programmes of nation-building as patriotic civil
servants was of great value towards Vision 2030.
“The launch of Civil Servants TrustED will make us achieve individual and group goals. We
have to make sure that vision 2030 becomes a reality through our involvement in projects and
programmes, which facilitate national economic growth. I encourage you to have a positive
mind-set, to be proactive so that we achieve the above set targets, she said.
