Gospel music an inspiration to the broken heart

Dorcas Moyo an award winning gospel musician said gospel music played an important role in spreading Christianity, it acts as a source of inspiration to those who had given up, and it is used also as a form of praise and worship giving thanks to the lord.
Moyo told this publication that through her music, she is spreading the good news of the LORD, inspiring those with broken souls and also giving praise to the highest God.
Moyo said that her musical passion developed when she was young through participating in various church programs especially praise and worship.
“Having grown under a devoted Christian mother it was inevitable that l become an equally devoted follower of Jesus Christ, the life of Christianity entailed participating in various church programs and praise and worship was the key, I grew through the ranks until l developed a keen interest on music and that’s when the journey begun, “said Moyo
Moyo joined the music industry in 2006 and she is launching her 9th album on the 11th of March this year.
“I am launching my 9th album on the 11th of March, a national tour is in wait for the album, we are also planning a couple of international tours and we pray all our plans come to fruition,” said Moyo
She said music industry are similar although gospel music suffer the most , so she encourages young upcoming gospel musicians to be persistent and prayerful so as to keep on going .
